No longer a slim pant
I bought this style of pant a couple of years ago for my son. My favorite thing about it was that it was a slim pant. This new version is unfortunately huge in the waist. Even though the length is perfect for my son, the waist is so big that I had to return them. So sad!

nice cargos, but fit not perfect.
I got these for my almost 3 year old in size 3. He is rather tall for his age so I knew it might be a bit small. The length is perfect for him... right now. The waist is a bit big which is sad because I have skinny boys and it was so nice to trust Tea to have pants that didn't need all that bunched up elastic pulled then buttoned to fit. These stay on him... barely ( even though the length is fine!) Other than the fit, the fabric is the usual cozy french terry that we love and he likes the stripe of red on the side.

Waist is Large
I wanted to confirm the other review that the waist in these pants runs large. We also have had this style pant in the past and loved them, my son was overjoyed to see them again but then quite disappointed the waist was too big. My son is slim, but I also ordered a 3-pack of pants (French Terry Cargo, Playwear & Denim Carpenter) and the waist was fine for him on all those pants. I also wanted to say that these pants taper a little in the ankle, making them a slimmer fit then the French Terry Cargo style and at least an inch shorter.

Large waist; too much shrinkage
I like the look, though they're baggier than I expected. The waist really does run large, and they shrank a lot more than I was expecting; when we first got them I had to roll up the legs, but after three washes they're almost too short.
