I ordered these in a size 6 even though most of her shoes are 5. The CM measurements are deceiving. My daughter's feet measure 12.5 and 13 cm so I went up to make sure they would fit through the summer. Well, they are HUGE. I have to return, because she could trip and fall wearing these. I should have gone with what I know to be her size, but I went with the measurements and now size 5 is sold out in white. Very disappointed.
Otherwise the sandal is adorable and I wish we could exchange them!
My 6 year old needed a basic sandal (not a thong/flip flop) that would work with any outfit and still be durable enough for running and playing. After trying on several at the mall, I remember seeing these in the catalog. It took only 3 days to get them in and they fit great. She didn't want anything super tight across the toes and I didn't want lots of glitter/jewels that would ulitimately come off and make the sandal look worn out. These are great. My only complaint is that where the uppers are sewn into the footbed the white padding pulls up, but I don't know that you could fix this. We got the silver, but I may be ordering the pink next. Too cute.
I love these sandals. They dress up well and they are great everyday sandals. My daughter loves them. I still have to help her get them on occasionally, but they are so worth it. They also are fairly easy to clean. I just scrub them down with a brush and water and let them dry in the sun.
So glad I finally got my daughter a pair of these sandals, which are obviously popular among both the trendy as well as the classic style crowd. She is currently a true 9.5 in pretty much every shoe she wears. Putting them on her for the first time, I began to think that they might be too tight, and would need to be exchanged, however, I followed the directions (stretching) except for getting them wet, and they actually fit her like a glove. But it's a shoe. Not a glove. Anyway... She did mention a couple of times that they "kinda felt tight" but decided they were comfortable enough not to take them off for the rest of the night, as well as ask to wear them every day since the purchase. This could be a good indication that all she needed was to break them in a bit. I'm not sure I would go a half size up though, because I don't want to risk a blister on the heel from the heel strap rubbing if it were a bit loose. She wore the pink ones for Easter with her pretty bright yellow dress and got so many compliments! I would recommend, but just know that you may only get one seasons wear out of them.
