faded quickly

Agree with other reviewers that this pattern looks faded when worn and actually did fade after only 2-3 washes. Very sad. Wished it were higher quality.

Love these leggings!

The print on these leggings is beautiful...I will be sad when my daughter grows out of them. I found the quality to be good and didn't experience any fading with the wash. I just turn them inside out and that seems to help.

Ribbed fabric ruins pattern

I hoped to pair these with the Kawaii Tulle BB dress but unfortunately as soon as I put them on my daughter they stretched a bit (as they should, not because they were too tight) and because the fabric is ribbed, it washed out the pattern and color immensely. Frankly, they looked old and cheap and I was pretty disappointed.

Doesn't Look Like Online Pic

I'm a huge fan of Tea Collection garments and my daughter has quite a wardrobe of the brand. However, these leggings are a big disappointment. I agree with the other reviewer here, this fabric's ribbing detracts from the over all pattern and washes out the colors. This makes these look odd once they are put on. I know this brand well so I had already sized up and bought these in a size 3t for my size 2t daughter (Tea Collection leggings run an entire size small as a rule - size up!) yet no matter how accurate the fit these stretch, as leggings do, over areas like the knees and butt. The ribbing and stretch distorts the fabric pattern over these areas in an odd way and makes the fabric look faded and worn in those spots. These look particularly weird over my toddler's diaper. This fabric looks white in between the individual rows of ribbing, especially when stretched, so over a diaper they just look terrible. Worse yet, the color of these leggings even without the stretch isn't as pictured or what I expected from the description. I know that computer monitors and settings differ so I wasn't expecting these to look exactly as featured online. I'm honestly not that picky anyway and I got these on sale! However, these aren't anything close to what I'd call cardinal or cardinal red. They are more of an earth tone color - the background being a sort of terra cotta color with the floral print detail in shades of salmon pink, a kiwi-chartreuse color, an odd pinky beige, and a tiny bit of a dark teal/marine blue for the leaves. This color combo is quite pretty but it's not what I expected and would be quite hard to match or complement if I kept these leggings. I have no idea what color top I'd pair these with - they certainly wouldn't work w/ white, ivory, beige, or the China Red Tea Collection garments I bought. These would probably look best w/ a chartreuse color top of some kind (like the one suggested on the item page) but we don't have anything in that kind of color. I thought these would be more of a red color w/ white or ivory flowers, maybe some yellow too. That would've been easier to match. Since these are such an unusual color combo and have the problem described w/ the ribbing, I plan on sending these back.
If you do want to buy these please do yourself a favor and size up a full size. Interestingly, I had already bought the Asian print Tea Collection leggings almost identical to these in blue and though the ribbing distorts the color print a bit it's not as distracting as with these. The blue ones also look exactly as pictured online. So I recommend those, provided you also size up when ordering (I size up a full size with ALL TC leggings as a rule.)
