Great in-between backpack

This backpack is perfect for our preschooler. Other brands seemed to have something that was too small to hold papers and folders without crimping/folding them (ruining his art projects) or so big that he was drowning in them. This is a good in-between size pack. The only thing missing from my standpoint are pockets on the sides that would allow us to insert his water bottle. The front pocket, however, includes interior pockets for pencils and notepads, which is a nice inclusion.

Poor Quality

I was really excited to receive this backpack. It was a great price and the size was perfect for a five year old. It fits his folder, a jacket, his lunch, snacks, and a change a clothes, but is still small enough for his little frame to carry the backpack. Overall, the backpack is nicely designed. My issue was the workmanship. We received it just after Black Friday and used it until winter break (so less than three weeks of use). That is when I noticed the seams fraying. Clearly, we will not be able to use this backpack for the remainder of the school year. I've grown to expect great quality and thoughtful designs from Tea Collection, but this back pack is an exception.
