We help how we can, whether giving a percentage of a day's sales to Japan disaster relief or donating clothing to help those affected by tornados, floods and other natural disasters here in the U.S.

Donation Requests - For Little Citizens

We appreciate the opportunity to participate in your event with a donation in the form of a teacollection.com e-gift certificate. Please review our guidelines below and send an email to donations@teacollection.com with all the information required on our donation request form.

Selection Criteria:

1. Proceeds must benefit children.
2. Organization must work with causes that benefit children.
3. Organization must have a Tax ID#
4. Donation request should be for a specific event.
5. Must provide a Thank You letter with all required details for tax purposes within 2 weeks after event. (Please see below for letter requirements.)

Process:

1. Submit an email with required information from our donation request form 2 months prior to the date you need to either receive the gift certificate or receive the information about the donation (to print in a program/booklet for example), whichever is earlier.
2. You will receive an email at least three weeks prior to the donation submission deadline informing you whether or not Tea will be a participant in your event.

If donation request is granted:

1. If your donation is approved, someone will contact your organization about arranging a gift certificate for your event. Once the gift certificate is processed, you will receive additional directions, specifically for the auction winner, about how to redeem his or her prize.
2. Provide a tax letter within 2 weeks after the date of your event. Tax letter must include the following information:
   • Name of your organization and your event
   • The name of the organization the proceeds benefit
   • Tax ID #
   • Dollar amount of the gift certificate Tea donated to the event

Terms and Conditions:

1. Donation requests are considered on a first come, first serve basis, based on date donation request is received, not on the date of the actual event.
2. Donations subject to our budgetary constraints. Once our donation budget is exhausted, we will not be able to honor requests.
3. The winner of the gift certificate is subject to certain redemption restrictions.

Tax Letter Information:

In order to qualify for a Tea donation, you must be able to provide a letter with the following information listed in the letter: tax ID, Tea Collection name, total value of our donation. The letter must include the dollar value amount of the gift certificate and indicate that we donated it to your organization.

If you would like additional items for your donation event, the proceeds of which the full proceeds will go to charity, you may purchase product from Tea if you have a re-sale license. Please note there are no returns or exchanges of merchandise, either purchased or donated. Please contact donations@teacollection.com for any further information.
