I bought these for Devon and thought they seemed a little small. She is very tall and thin but they seemed snug at her usual size so I am going to return them. Everything else I ordered (mostly dresses and shirts) fit her great!

These are def running short/small. My dd is 45" and 45# and the size 7 are just a tad bit long on her and the waist is a little big. The 6s would have been too small. They are a super soft, thick knit and she didn't want to take them off.

Yes, my daughter usually wears a 6 but the 6 were perfect in the waist but after a few washes they shrunk, so I bought a 7 and the length was perfect but the waist was huge, a good 2 inches wider then the leggings (i measured :)). I hope they fix this because I really love these pants.

Oh yeah.. these are VERY short. I got these and some leggings in the same size and these are a full 3 inches shorter than the leggings..

I bought a size up after reading the comments, and then I had to return them for being too big. I think they run true to size. My petite 5-yr-old daughter is wearing the size 4 and they touch the floor with room to spare - and this is AFTER shrinking them in the wash a bit. I would recommend ordering the usual size.

Amanda- I am curious your daughter's height/weight as I'm debating the 4 or 5 for my daughter (also a petite 5 year old). I am getting mostly 5s in pants, but in the slimmer/fitted legging type pants can do the 5. She is 42 inches tall & 34 lbs.

They are very slim like leggings, but the fabric is a thicker knit/fleece so not as clingy. If he was pretty thin, they probably wouldn't be so tight.

Hi Angela! These are not leggings but a slim fitting sweat pant. We use female fit models for these pants but you are more than welcome to try them on your little one since every child's body type is different. Hope this helps!
