My 2.5-year-old is tall for his age and normal in proportions (not skinny or husky). He wears a 3T, and will likely have to go to 4T by Winter for Tea Collection. This Henley is much more tight fitting than I expected, considering the picture of the big kid online. The sleeve length is perfect, but it's pretty short, and there is no relaxed appearance to the fit. It is body hugging. The Tea Collection relaxed fit casual T's I ordered fit in sleeve length and will be short in the torso before Winter is over, but they are not as tight as this Henley. It's a little bit of a bummer, because these shirts aren't cheap, and I was hoping he could wear it all Winter, but I doubt it will last that long. The shirt, like all Tea Collection, is very well made and color fast. It holds up well in the wash. I suggest ordering a size up.
