Run small
This shorts is cute and feels soft, but run small on the waist. 2 Size up May work, but possibly too much of the opening on the legs when waist fits well. Designed for kids with hour glass shape I guess.

Runs small
I love buying these shorts to match my daughter's Tea shirts but they really need to fix the sizing. I normally have to buy one size larger in these shorts than tees but this year the waistband is so tight I'll have to exchange the 14s for 16s. My daughter is 9.5 years old and typically wears size 12.

Cute and comfortable
I bought the blue shorts for my 3 girls. All 3 love them. They are cute and comfortable and match their tops well. The little pompom trim is a fun design.

Comfortable and cute
My 7-year-old likes these shorts. My only complaint is that they are somewhat see through- the pink needs to have light colored underwear or you’ll see the pattern underneath. My daughter is around 50” and 54lbs and size 7 fit well with no room to grow for next year. They are pretty baggy, so I don’t think it would be good to size up.
