Soft but boxy
Tea graciously gifted me three shirts to try for an honest review. I have three children (girl size 12, girl size 7, and boy size 5). These were soft and substantial feeling right out of the package. They had a surprising amount of stretch for being mostly cotton! My kids loved the patterns, but the overall fit wasn't great for them. My size 12 daughter ended up wearing the size 7 to school, and it fit her how she likes. The 12 almost fit me as a size 6 adult woman. I know this is the new style of boxy and loose (the product image is an accurate representation of fit). My daughter's least favorite aspect were the sleeves. They were too long and fit almost like 3/4 length sleeves. I think this style just isn't their favorite, although the patterns and quality were fantastic. They've washed and dried beautifully. I would just size down and know this is a slouchy, loose fit that's slightly boxy.
