Beautiful Style Baby Doll Dress

The style of this dress we love. Unfortunately, I'm returning it because it's not the linen / cotton dresses that I usually buy for my granddaughter. I was hoping it would be a very light sheen, but as the other customer stated it's a beautiful gold metallic and slightly more deeper gold, than what appears on my screen as a creamy yellow. Although it is lined in light cotton, my granddaughter is very sensitive and why I'm returning it. The quality is very well made, and if you like metallic sheen and embroidery, you'll love this dress.

Beautiful Dress

The photos of this dress on the website do not do this dress justice. In photos, the fabric may look like plain ivory twill, but in reality, it is a gorgeous shimmery subtle gold fabric. Really, really gorgeous and probably why it's priced at a higher price point. That said, it is an extraordinarily wide and loose fitting dress, as can be seen from the photos. And if you have a particularly lean, petite child, as I do, the dress will absolutely just swim on her. Tea Collection already makes clothes for perhaps broader/larger children in general (dresses and tops can tend to be a bit squarish or broad), but this dress is truly wide, by anyone's standards. This is likely the intentional style but it looked comical on my child.
